Welcome / Bienvenue
Our Mission
Fierté Timmins Pride unites and engages individuals and organizations to educate, advocate, and support the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Timmins and surrounding areas.

Our Story
Fierté Timmins Pride is a not-for-profit organization made up completely of volunteers. Everyone who works on behalf of the organization does so in their free time.
The first Pride event Timmins hosted was in 2014. It started as a few organizations and community members celebrating to promote diversity and inclusion. Today, Pride week has grown. The events are grander, the parade is longer, and the crowds are larger.

Needs Assessment
What does the community want and need?
Prism of Opportunities: A Needs Assessment for 2SLGBTQ+ Support within the Cochrane & Temiskaming Districts of Northeneastern Ontario. (2022)
Fierté Timmins Pride partnered with ATZ consulting and key community members to survey the 2SLGBTQ+ community to determine its needs. Funding for the project was made possible by the Government of Canada's Women and Gender Equality Grant.
Un Prisme de Possibilités: Une Évaluation des Besoins des Communautés 2SLGBTQ+ des Districts de Cochrane et de Timiskaming, dans le Nord-Est de L'Ontario. (2022)
